Day 61

Day 61 – 4 Miles:  Up (slowly), Breakfast, procrastination…….. out the door at 5:50.  Very stiff and sore.  Had a really tough time getting up and getting going.  After about 3 miles though, I started to feel OK.  After I finished, I felt like I had just finished a longer run.

I talked to Taylor this morning and he was having some of the same apprehensions that I am having.  This 17 miler on Saturday coming up seems like a tall order.  I am not feeling great after the shorter runs, how am I going to get through 17 miles in a blizzard!  The fear and anxiety changes week to week, but based on previous struggles and challenges, I can draw confidence from the fact that we have made through every other obstacle and we will cross this hurdle also.

  5. I was going to ask if I could come take pictures tomorrow – but I’m not sure if I’m brave enough to brave a blizzard!
